Health & Salon Guidelines
As always, Headliners NOLA takes hygiene and safety very seriously. Since the pandemic, we’ve adopted these safety measures to protect everyone in the salon.
We continue to follow applicable occupational health and safety regulations every day - regardless of the season or pandemic. We do this to ensure our Headliners can trust our salon. A few of the sanitation and cleaning measures are detailed below:
Everyone (clients/stylists) is required to wear masks in our salon.
After each client, we clean and sterilize the shampoo bowl.
Upon entering the salon, our clients are instructed to wash their hands before their appointment.
We use gloves to shampoo and condition.
After each client, we wipe the stylist chair and dryer chair with anti-bacterial wipes.
All combs and clips are soaked in barbicide.
DO NOT BRING ANYONE TO YOUR APPOINTMENT. THAT PERSON WILL BE ASKED TO WAIT OUTSIDE OF THE SALON.
Additionally, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is sick.
Thank you for being a valued client.

Appointment Policies
In order to best accommodate the needs of your schedule and the upkeep and maintenance of your hair, we recommend that each of our clients book their upcoming appointments in advance. Our appointment books are open 45 days in advance.
In the best consideration of our clients’ time as well as ours, we respectfully ask that a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours notice is given for any appointment changes or cancellations.
In accordance with my cancellation policy, we will charge a cancellation fee of 50% of last-minute appointment cancellations and 100% of the reserved service for no-shows. If a client is a no show and does not have any money on the card on file, that person will be blocked in our system until they pay their IOU balance.
To be clear, last-minute appointment cancellations are less than twenty-four (24) hours notice.

Salon Service Policies
Pricing of our salon services is based on our experience and education along with the demands of our time.
Please note that our service pricing may increase based on additional time or product required to accommodate the needs of your hair.
All color services require a consultation. You cannot book a color appointment without a color consultation.
All prices are subject to change and do not include gratuity.
We want to provide a great client experience for all scheduled clients. The salon has limited seating. Therefore, we do not allow you to bring any additional people to your scheduled appointment.
In the case of any dissatisfaction with the service you have received, we are happy to provide you the opportunity to return to the salon to redo the service.
Our policy for a redo service is that you must call us within three (3) days of the original service as we are open seven days a week.

The Little Ones
We welcome all children with a scheduled appointment.
However, in the best interest of the salon and your child’s safety, Headliners NOLA does not hold liability for your children if they are running, spinning, or climbing on chairs, touching or playing with cords or tools, choose to touch items from stylist stations, or open any closed drawers within the space during their visit.
The stations, drawers, chairs and various tools that we utilize to perform services on our clients are meant to be touched only by trained professionals.
The salon space has various hot tools that have temperatures over 400 degrees F. The drawers contain sharp objects such as scissors and razor blades along with other chemicals and irritants that could be potentially dangerous to unsuspecting children. The various tools we use are meant to be utilized by our trained professionals only.
As appealing as big, hydraulic, spinning salon chairs can seem for little ones, we cannot allow children to play on, stand on, spin in or other utilize salon chairs for any other purpose aside from sitting in them.
Please note that any and all staff members of the salon are encouraged to discourage this behavior in the best interest and safety of all children.
